In just a few days I will be flying to Rome and meeting one of my daughters. I am so excited! I have never been to Italy. We are traveling to several towns while we are there. I hope to blog about my trip while I am gone. Excited! Oh yes, I am very excited! Can't wait to see everything there is to see! I have been to Europe a couple of other times, but never Italy or Athens Greece. I went on a trip with my mother when I was 16. The trip also included my sister and two aunts. We visited relatives in several countries. I am 3rd generation from Norway, Holland and Sweden. Then 6 years ago my husband worked in England for a short time. I visited him and we also went to Paris. It was be really great to visit another country. I will keep the posts coming.

Do you need a good carpet cleaner in Salem, OR
Do you need a good carpet cleaner in Salem, Oregon? One of our rentals was recently vacated and I decided to try a new carpet cleaning company and see if we could just clean the carpet instead of replace it. In the past I have gone with the least expensive company. I always thought all carpet cleaners were alike. Oh my was I wrong! Like New Carpet Care did a fantastic job! The carpet looks new! The only thing they couldn't take care of was an iron mark on the carpet. Otherwise all the dirt, pink stains and anything else are gone! The carpet looks new! I was so impressed I felt I need to share it. The contact information is 503-363-7738. The person who cleaned my carpets was Brady. He had arms the size of a body builder and did an excellent job. Try them, I think you will be pleased.

You just got an offer on your home!! Now what?
You just got an offer on your home. YIKES! Now what do you do? Is the offer a good one, or not so good? Does it really matter at this point? Well, the most important thing is not to ignore the offer. You have a choice to either counter the offer or ignore it. DON'T IGNORE IT! Any offer is a good offer. So if it isn't quite what you were hoping for, counter the offer. Always as best as you possibly can come to a compromise with the buyer. You want to sell and they want to buy. Try to work it out somewhere in the middle. Listen to the advise of your realtor. Look at the stats for the area you live in. What is the average price per square foot for the homes sold? Is your offer close to this? What condition is your home? How many showings has it had? Does this look like a solid buyer? These are things to consider when you get an offer. For more information on selling your home check out my website at http://www.getsalemrealestate.com/
